Our History
The Story Begins...
Daniel Biagi and Diego Cotsifis are coworkers. Working with each-other reveals their shared love for new tools and technology. In 2008, they made the first of many bold decisions to become entrepreneurs. The market had a void for an affordable services company that also invested in new technology and ways of working.
Out of that dream, AEC Resource was born.
Fast forward a few years
By 2018, AEC resource had grown to over 150 employees in Argentina with a remote team in the US. Years of discussing the best workflows, and ways to use AEC tools such as Revit and Autocad during projects proved there was still a missing piece in the industry. BIM can be useful to owners or operators of built space, so why were so few leveraging this data and taking advantage of all BIM has to offer?
Designing for the future goes beyond your physical asset. A well-aligned data strategy from project inception to long-term ownership leads to lower overall costs and more insight into your operational performance. Once our idea was on paper, it seemed simple. Together as AECLab, we change what it means to build.
2020, a year of change
By 2020, AEC Resource evolved into business with 4 divisions, 150 employees, and presence in 20+ cities across 3 continents.
2020 was a challenging year for everyone. For the first time in our history, the entire team was remote. Our infrastructure and spatial needs changed like most other companies dealing with the pandemic. The AECLab team internally took a look in the mirror, and realized The "Next Normal" had arrived sooner than we thought!
Voyansi is born out of that energy.
