Focus: Laser Scanning / Scan to BIM
Challenges:
The challenge was to scan one of the most important stadiums in the region, with dimensions exceeding 344 x 230 feet and a capacity of over 50,000 spectators, convert it to BIM, and have it fully modeled to facilitate future renovations.
Scope of Work:
- LIDAR survey.
- Post-processing.
- Generation of a 3D BIM model from the point cloud (Scan to BIM) with LOD 200 for architecture and structures.
Results:
- Set of 2D plans.
- 3D BIM Revit model.
- Black-and-white point cloud in .rsc and .rcp formats compatible with Autodesk software.
