Education

I have a degree in Architecture from Universidad Nacional de Córdoba (UNC). I'm really excited to start a masters program in architecture this upcoming fall semester! In addition, I also studied culinary arts prior to architecture so technically I am a trained chef as well. 

WHAT ARE YOU WORKING ON? 

Currently I'm working on a handful of projects at the same time! The largest project I'm working is a scan to BIM project to model a large automotive production facility in the US. 

GIVE US 1 good tip on bim

BIM is the best way to take your idea and turn it into reality efficiently. I know that BIM is going to change the world due to the broad depth of everything it touches, and am really excited to be on this journey as the industry changes to a new normal!

Experience abroad? Why? Did you like it?

When I was younger, I spent a good chunk of time living in the United States between the west coast and Chicago. It was an incredible experience for learning new things and I drastically improved my English.

My biggest takeaway from the experience is the value of immersing yourself in a completely new culture. The norms, how people behave, the food. This experience sticks in my mind today and can't be taken away. 

what should i know if i'm new to bim? 

To be real, you don't know what you don't know. I was a novice when I started, but the beauty of BIM is that it's easy to learn, especially if you take a phased approach. My journey involved a-lot of self study, and of course practice! I'll echo my colleague Mike, Always Be Learning!

Talk about your experience AT VOYANSI

Every day, I have the ability to learn new skills. I also I love the fact that I get to work on a variety of projects at the same time. In my last role, I spent 4 years on the same project, so I've really enjoyed the change of pace. 

A book you would recommend

I'm going to go in a different direction than many of my colleagues and recommend a fantasy book. Harry Potter is the first thing that comes to mind. I know it is written primarily for children, but was a compelling narrative. It was long enough that it was a challenge for me as a non-native English speaker. However, this is a blessing in disguise, the story is so compelling you simply cannot put the book down until you reach the conclusion 100,000 pages later.
